I am not getting notified when I have a new voicemail on my S5 - I just randomly checked my voicemail the other day and had 12 voicemails, eek, I need notifications.
I have gone to Settings and then selected Voicemail Settings and all it shows is "Voicemail Number" *86. There is no way for me to change any settings. Help!

Pull the Battery >> Phone on.! once the Battery is out and away from the phone press & hold your power button for 20 to 25 sec. then reinstall the battery, then re-power your s5

Hi ksoelter!
I can help get your voicemail notifications back! Call your voicemail, choose option 4 for Personal Options, and then press 1 for your Notification. Turn it back on, and you should be all set! Let us know if that takes care of it!
Thanks,

There is not an option for pressing #1. It is an invalid option.

So, here is what I did. I went to apps, then voicemail. It comes up with Visual Voice Mail stuff. I chose continue. Then on the terms and conditions screen, I chose decline. Then closed app and now I get voicemails.

This solution also worked for me. In fact I had hidden the voicemail icon app and had to find it. Then opened and chose decline to the visual voicemail option. Now my voicemail notifications, both sound and icon on top bar, are working again. I have a Samsung Note 3 btw. Yea!

Worked for me one time. Clicked visual voicemail icon, opened, declined...and I had a voicemail icon in the notification panel...for one day. Next day, same problem. Tried same solution but, when I opened voicemail icon, it immediately had all my recent calls listed and discovered it had enrolled me in visual voicemail!!! Quickly went to a menu I found, opted out of "free trial," closed window. Still, no icon on notification panel...
