Since getting the update on July 1, only 1 of my email account quit receiving emails. I could send, but not receive. I've deleted the account, but now it won't let me add an account. Frustrating! Can anyone help?

I am having the same problem. My aol account will not update/refresh....I can send out emails, but I can not get new emails. I hope someone can help. We tried to change our password and it did not help. We tried to dump the account and redo, but it won't let us delete the aol account.

Same thing here, can't figure it out. Cannot receive my comcast emails since supposed upgrade. I know this is picky but my symbols at the top of the phone are all white now. For example, the battery and charge percentage are no longer green. Does anyone from customer service pay attention to these chats??

Google changed the color of the notification icons to all white in KitKat.

I know it's important to be able to receive those emails krboerup. What device do you have? The S3 or the S3 mini? What email client is this? Any error message when trying to readd?

I have the S3. I've even added an email app from another provider. I can
send but still no receiving of emails.

Thanks for trying those steps ssmmgg. Are you having any difficulties with any other email clients? What happens when you attempt to uninstall the email account for AOL? Have you ever searched for an app in the play store for it?

Thanks for taking those steps! Which email domain is giving you this trouble? (i.e. @gmail, @hotmail, @aol, @comcast, etc.) Does it work better with WiFi off? Any other trouble with data on your device?

Both of the accounts that are other providers (GoDaddy and Network
Solutions) worked fine before the update. Now I get a message: Unable to
connect to server.
I think it may have something to do with the ports changing on the samsung
update. But no one seems to be able to help.
Since installing CloudMagic email app, I can at least send emails from the
phone. I still cannot receive emails on the phone. I have no other data
problems on the phone. Web, text, gmail app is all working and receiving.
Who else can I talk to that might be able to get this problem fixed?
