It has something to do with the SIM card & pin. I'll probably have to get ANOTHER card, which quik make #4. This HTC DNA has not been SIM card friendly.

cgoodall,
Let's ensure that you can safely back up your information. Does this error appear when attempting to sync your information? Have you tried syncing your contacts through our website? http://bit.ly/1gEezVc From your phone, when going to Settings>Accounts & Sync>Backup Assistant Plus is Contacts selected?

I am also getting this error 36 since my OS upgrade on a Galaxy S4. Sync Contacts is selected. The sync fails each time when scheduled and when I try to run it manually.

So we're having to use something that we could be charged for? No thanks, my bill is big enough. I would prefer a fix.

Good morning gcmuddpuppies! I had same issue after my software update and I resolved by doing a hard reset. Give it a try http://bit.ly/WOhhsK
