I recently moved to a new apartment that has a buzzer system that connects to your cell phone. When a guest buzzes your name in the system, it is supposed to call your phone, then you can push a number and let them into the building. The management company at my building has been having problems getting my phone into the system, and claim they need a "carrier access code" from Verizon to get it to work. I spoke with Verizon, and they don't seem to know what the problem is, and think it is an issue with the management company.
Has anyone here had a similar issue? Any thoughts or suggestions?
