Lets get it figured oit cwjoat. Go to settings > app manager > all > scroll to system updates > clear data > reboot and check for updates again.

When you connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable you should get a popup message similar to ones shown below.

1) If you have an operating system before Windows 8 (see attachment below).  Choose the Run "VZW_Software_upgrade_assistant_installer..." by clicking on it.

2) If you have Windows 8 or 8.1 it will appear as a blue message popup in the upper right hand corner of your monitor (see attachment below).  Just click on the blue popup and then click the Run VZW_Software_upgrade_assistant.exe.

The problem is with the computer downloading update software corrupted or something ua.exe not there and  some .dll problem

The Verizon Software Update software is actually stored on the phone.  When you connect the phone to your computer with the USB cable you will get the option to install the software.  Occassionally you will get notified that this software needs to be updated on your computer (which will download from the internet).  As far as I know there is no other location of this software.  The hosting website (https://neofussvr.sslcs.cdngc.net/) has never let me on either.  You maybe able to acquire the software from a Verizon Store.

I received my 4.4.2 update over the air without any problems other than I don't like some of the changes that the update made.

found the problem had to have windows media player  11.0 installed to get it working
