Change APN Settings to Fix 4.4 IPV6 Bug

Hi, I would like to change my VZWINTERNET APN settings so that I can force IPV4 over IPV6. This would only be temporary, as it is currently just a bug. This bug prevents VPN services from working properly. I am interested in using either Onavo or Opera Max to lower data usage, but with my phone as is.. I cannot due to the 4.4 bug.

The option to edit APN's in the S5 is grayed out, probably by Verizon. Is there any way to make the change without rooting or flashing? I'd rather not void warranties or contracts. Perhaps I could get a store supervisor to do this for me?

I don't think root access will void contract but yeah warranty.  I've seen people unroot and no one can tell however.  Sometimes I'll add a little more data to get into a comfort zone or  just shut it down unless on WiFi

I am seeing the same issue, this just started happening in St. Louis today.  As of yesterday I was able to connect to the network IP6 just fine, sees like they are rolling this IP6 only market to market.

This breaks:

Remote Desktop

Cisco VPN
