Why does my Moto X get so hot?

I'll try this again. My moto x heats up if I charge it and listen to the TuneIn app. Also if I play games for about 10 minutes. I've disabled hangouts, turn off wifi and bluetooth when not needed. Still this thing heats up big time. I've asked this quesiton yesterday and got emails saying I have replies. However I'm not able to view them. So hopefully I'll be able to see responses this time. I've had my phone since February 5, 2014.

Hello bobmg68, a working phone is top priority! Is the device plugged into the charger while in use? Does it get hot to the touch where it burns your hands? Any physical or water damage? What charger are you using? If it's anything other than the one that came with the phone, try using the one it came with.
