Why am I only getting one part of my text messages?

When i receive text messages that are split into multiple parts i only receive one of the multiple parts, does anyone know why this is? I have a htc thunderbolt, and sometimes i use the Chomp SMS messaging app to get my messages because its quicke

Let's get all your messages in one piece ksgrass! Not all third party apps handle text messages properly. I recommend downloading Verizon Messages App http://bit.ly/13rcZfv from the Play Store to resolve this issue. Keep us posted.
