I need help from someone who has purchased this device in US and taken to England and Paris. Does this device even work with the European wireless networks? I see much conflicting information on what has to be done to make them compatible with carriers in these other countries.
Thank you, Jerry

Jerry, help is here! That device was designed to work on our wireless network. I apologize that we're unable to verify or confirm if it can work on any other network as we cannot support it. However, if that device is activated on our network, then we can support it. Here's more details regarding using that device internationally on our network: http://vz.to/134zbLK

Jerry the specs on the devices state they can function outside the USA with carriers using their local carrier sims.
They can work on GSM networks in Europe and CDMA since the radios in the new iPads can access the networks.
