I own the verizon mifi 5510l. I've had it for months and it has worked great. I updated it, and now it constantly says obtaining IP address and it won't let me connect! How do I fix it?

Your problem could be on the Jetpack or the connecting computer.

If your problem is on the Jetpack then perform the various resets to clear up any temporary problems.  Power cycle, SIM card reset and worst case restoring the defaults should do the trick.  If you restore the defaults then remember to go back into the Jetpack and setup a new custom password.  You should always use a custom password generated with security best practices instead of relying on the default provided by the Jetpack.

If your problem is on the computer then search online for steps on how to setup and manage wireless connections.  Chances are the wireless profile you are using has become corrupted and needs to be recreated.  Most of the time reentering credentials like this will allow you to obtain an IP and continue using the Jetpack.  We can try to help if you post your connecting devices OS.
