My power button on my iphone suddenly just stopped working, the button doesn't go down when you push it. It literally worked one minute and the next the button stopped. The phone is really well taken care of and kept in an otterbox cover....I found the floating button on the screen to lock the screen, but its a pain to use...does this mean I have to file a claim through assurion and pay $99 for a replacement iphone 4 when they are giving the iphone 5c for cheaper...my upgrade isn't until November. Anyoone have any ideas or know if this can be fixed easily? I seen that it is a common problem apple had with the iphone 4....

Go to the Apple store. If under a year old they will repair for free if defective. Even if after a year go there anyway and just pay to have it fixed.
