Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > "All" tab. Then, scroll down to Multi touch keyboard and push "Force Stop" and "Clear Cache."
I went to follow these directions today after searching the internet about the problem. When I navigate to "multi-touch keyboard" following the above method (the path was fine) my phone has the "force stop" ghosted out. Additionally, it shows 0.00b in the cache. "clear cache" is also ghosted out. It does list 276 KB for "data" under the storage header along with 0.00b attributed to "application" and it shows a total of 276KB (from data of course).
Please, i'd appreciate some help!
