After my phone received an update, the microphone button on the keyboard has disappeared. Does anyone know how I can get it back? I checked my keyboard settings to make sure that the voice input key is selected. Somehow the option is no longer visible on the keyboard. Please help.

BigGameHunter,
Let's get your access to microphone back, I know it's important to have speak to text available. Launch Settings>Language&Input>Enable Google Voice Typing.

On the keyboard within the text screen, as if you are replying, next to the spacebar there is an icon, might look like a gear. Long press it and select the mic icon. It should stay as that icon until you do the same long press again and change it to settings etc...
