When I signed up for my Verizon account years ago I was an employee of xyz company. As a result I was receiving a small discount off of my monthly service. Now, Verizon has asked me to validate my employment.
Unfortunately, I am no longer an employee of that company. I am now self-employed. However, several of the family members on my plan are employees of larger organizations. My father is a retired federal employee, who is also retired military, and my son works for Vanns Shoes. Can I use the Verizon Wireless discounts they're entitled to since they are both members of my plan?
You have to complete the Assumption of Liability (AOL) process to transfer ownership of the account to either of those persons for them to be able to apply for their employee discount.
