I have am on a Family Share Plan with two lines. One for me, and one for my the account owner. I would like to port my number to T-Mobile. As being the additional line on the account, is this possible? What steps do I need to take to ensure that I can keep my phone number on T-Mobile?
Is the phone out of contract? I f not the account owner will be billed an ETF.
Basically go to TM and ask them to port your number in when they set up your account. VZW will automatically close the line of service with them and will send a final bill which may include an ETF
If the line is not in your name, they may or may not want the account owner to approve this.
Also, you will need your Verizon Wireless account number and billing account pw to authorize the port.
