how to remove lock screen?

I have the samsung galaxy s4 and i thought i'd try out the lock screen with pattern because of having very young nieces and a nephew...well i decided to take it off my phone and now I can not find that option! please help! i need it off of there! thanks!

If it is anything like the S3, open up the main settings menu > lock screen > screen lock > choose the type of lock screen you would like.

if i do that it just takes me to the screen to change my pattern for my screen lock

What are your options on each of those successive menus then?

Settings

My device

Lock screen

Screen lock

Enter your current pattern

Select screen lock

"None"

This will remove the screen lock requirement!!
