Please see page 52 of the 5510L User Guide:
When you sign into the MiFi Admin page and access the Jetpack WiFi settings you can choose to enable or disable the Display WiFi Name feature. When this feature is set it to Off and your SSID/Network Name will be "invisible" to others.
I trust that you already know that hiding your SSID is not a valid form of security. Everyone has thier reasons, just dont depend on a hidden SSID to protect your device from malicious users.
If you choose to hide your SSID then no devices will be able to "see" it. Hiding the SSID is mainly for people and essentially the same thing as removing the SSID. There are other identifiers (GUID, MAC, etc) that computers can recognize when your MiFi starts sending out its beacons and responding to connection requests.
It sounds like you are good to go if you have already created a profile for your hidden network on those devices. When the network is within range your devices will respond to the network silently and begin to authenticate. If your devices profile matches the criterea of the MiFi then you will be allowed to connect.
