FP8 update - Two Questions?

ALL,

Verizon's original description for the Charge Phone's FP8 Update said:  "Support has been added for Face Lock & Unlock, Photo Editor, Recording Snap Shot, and Vector Font."  I did NOT get either the VECTOR FONT or the RECORDING SNAP SHOT.

Question 1:  Did anyone get the VECTOR FONT with their FP8 update?  I checked at Settings>Display Settings>Font Style and there is no Vector Font.  The only fonts there are the original four fonts that came with the phone when it was new.  For example, Default Font, Choco cooky, Cool jazz, and Rosemary.

Question 2:  Did anyone get the APP called "Recording Snap Shot?"  By the way, I did get the APP called Photo Editor but Verizon's description said we would get BOTH Recording Snap Shot and Photo Editor.

Recording Snap Shot sounds like you might be able to snap a photo while recording a video or during playback capture a frame as a photo. Did you try either way?

The other fonts, are they listed as separate applications?

Thank you for your idea re the APP "Recording Snap Shot."  You were "spot on." 

The, somewhat secret up until now, Recording Snap Shot APP has been integrated into the Charge Phone's current Camera function.  For example now when I touch the camera icon on the Home page and then touch the camera icon (upper right corner) the video camera appears as usual.  BUT when I touch the Video camera icon to start the video the Video camera icon returns to the picture of the  Camera icon and the video recording starts.  From this point on I am taking a video BUT anytime I touch the Camera icon that replaced the Video icon (upper right corner) the camera takes a quick "Snap Shot" and the Video continues on as usual. 

This Snap Shot photo is saved as a jpg picture.  Both the Video and the jpg photo are ultimately saved in the DCIM/Camera folder but they do NOT show up for a couple of minutes or more, probably processing time.

To answer you regarding the fonts, YES all four are separate fonts, not APPs.  For example, if I choose one all future emails are sent out using that font.  Also, no new Vector Font APP among the four pages of my APPs.  Some day I'll figure out the Vector Font thing unless you beat me to it!!!
