I'd also report it to the local Police Department
as long as its actually stolen and not lost
obviously ... I'm assuming it was stolen since the OP started their post with "My phone was just stolen and I want to report it"
and many of the 'stolen phones' where simply left someplace and people assumed they were stolen
im not indicating this is what happned here
but unless its a mugging or provable as stolen the police may not really care/take it seriously
now what phone was it?
was there tracking software on it?
Thanks to the community for your replies.
This has happened to me before and I know what an inconvenience this is. You can suspend your phone under lost/stolen in My Verizon http://bit.ly/xB4iTc to prevent unauthorized charges. My Verizon is conveniently available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have insurance on your phone you can also file a claim at http://bit.ly/07CrqPK to have your phone replaced. I'm sure you'll find this information helpful. Have a good day.
