Hello, my name is Tiesha. I was a Verizon customer at one point in time but I couldn't afford to pay the $80 a monthly, so I switch to Virgin Mobile and now I am deciding to switch back but the phones I am interested in using are the Samsung Alias 2 and the LG enV3. I want to know can these be used on the Pay as You Go Plan because I don't need nor want a data plan.

Neither phone requires a data plan, but I don't know if they can be used on a prepaid plan or not ... I'd suggest calling Customer Service at 888-294-6804 and asking them.

I'm excited to hear you're coming back Tiesha! Tikibar1 is right, neither of those phones require a data plan, and can usually be activated on Prepay or Postpay service. If you haven't already started a new line with us, you'll actually need to call Prepay Activations at 877-777-5759, instead of Prepay Customer Service at 888-294-6804, and a representative will get some more information from the phone you'd like to activate and confirm it's compatible with our service.
Welcome back to Verizon Wireless and have a great day!

nope
However, when you try to actvate it, you may be asked to choose a data plan. Choose one, activate the phone, and then immediately call Customer Service and have them put a data block on the phone and remove the data package.

Android phones require a data plan to be activated on the line and the data plan is required on the line while the android smartphone is on the line. THE DATA PLAN CAN'T BE REMOVED.
