"My Verizon" keeps telling me I have an unlimited data plan, but both times I've signed new contracts, I'm told it's limited to 5 GB or 2 GB. So why does the online dashboard say I have unlimited data?
I used to be an Alltel customer, and my plan with them really was unlimited.
If you had unlimited before signing a new contract, you should still have it. With 4G, it's not throttled. Log into your "My Verizon" account and see what is says there. When you signed your new contract, did you contact Verizon and tell them to reinstate your unlimited data plan. If not, it's possible you lost it.
"My Verizon" displaying that you have an unlimited data plan reflects that you still have the benefit of unlimited data for your device. If you still have the Alltel calling plan this may be allowing you to keep the unlimited and not subscribe to the 5GB or 2GB that was initially advised.
