    Starting a new plan, with a new phone


      I have been on my mother's family plan, and just went into a Verizon store last week to start my own plan and get a new phone. I was able to buy a new iPhone at the plan price and was told a termination fee would be put on my mother's account. I even chose the options for my new account so I thought it would be set up. However, I am still on her account with the new phone. What I want is to have an entirely new account/plan where I am the owner. Is there something I am missing here? Is this even possible? I tried to call customer service but I can't get to an actual person and none of the automated options help me!
