    Ringtone manager confusion


      I used verizon's ringtone manager to purchase ringtones, on my iPad, expecting to be able to use the service to purchase them for my Verizon phone more conveniently than using the phone itself. However, it appears that I may have bought them as though the iPad IS the phone. Can I transfer them to my phone?

          It depends on how you logged int o purchase the ringtones - were you logged in using the phone's #?  Or your account for the iPad?  Each device can/should have it's own log in to manage purchases for that device.


          You can call customer service and get a credit for the purchase, and then repurchase for the correct device.  They may be able to help you with the purchase on the phone as well.
