Razr Maxx auto rotate

The damn thing will not auto rotate. Yes I have the item checked - and no it just doesn't work -

any suggestions?

Were an when are you wanting your Maxx to Rotate in Landscape Mode. Some areas that it will Do it when you are the Web When you go into Messaging Area especially if your about to send a Message, When you go in to your App Drawer An when you are in the Google Play Store!  Is just some of Area it will Rotate Also it will Do it when it's in the HD Dock.. b33

B33 is correct, the rotation feature doesn't work for all areas of the device so the areas that you want to rotate may be you problem...   I user Smart Rotator from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.xdevelop.rotator_t&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsM... and it works well for the areas that you choose to rotate that originally was supported by the OS.

I just had the same issue over the weekend were the phone would not rotate.  I unchecked and rechecked the option then powered cycle the phone and it started working again for me.

Good Deal!  Solving the issue by staying on top of it with Determination to get it Fixed..that's the way to Go! b33

Thanks that worked - the real issue now is the phone is less than a week old and I keep having problems with it.

Any phone is hard to Adjust to at first when i got My Maxx the Snapping from the Speaker irritated Me but with the Installation of E.Q. an some of the other things that i have done to phone i have really adjusted to it A lottt. So unless there are Big and mean Big issues with it Don't sweat it To Much..

By the Way what are the Issues you are experiencing with it.. Give me a List an i will look threw it an see what you can Do! Ok.. b33

I've also had this problem solved by just turning it off or on.  Kinda frustrating, but at least it works.

Yup It can be irritating but simple kind of thing Sally an when your trying to take steps forward it takes a back to get it moving Forward Lol b33

I had this issue too, my phone wouldn't auto-rotate then my OS updated and it worked again
