Culman and New Market are out to. I am thoroughly mad now, I was in a very important call. Verizon is very, very consistently having these outages in our area, and if this one doesn't get solved in the next hour, im paying the money to get off this contract and going to AT&T! I get a family discount and will actually get every other call where with verizon, i get all one day and none the next!! anyone agree?
Just got off the phone--landline--with the VZW rep, who confirmed what Khelben said, and gave me a $10 credit. Whoopee! 3 lines, including my home phone with the "Home Phone Disconnect," and all I get is $10 for not being able to use my phone or get in touch with my family, who are probably wondering if the world is ending, since they are totally cut off from outside contact. This isn't going to work, Verizon!

We have had problems all day in Gadsden. This is the reason we swapped from Nextel/Sprint is because we HAD to have working phones for our jobs. We can't text, we can't get e-mails, make or receive calls and the 3G service doesn't show up at all. It looks like verizon would post something so that we would know what is going on. We can't even dial *611 on our phones. This is horrible....as much as we pay for service the least they can do is post something on their website. Sorry but I am frustrated as I am sure everyone is

I still have outage issues. Spoke with Verizon Customer Service and I was told "It is out of our hands, technicians are working on it, we hope to have it up soon. But it could take several more hours for full service to be restored. Try dialing *228 to reactivate your phone sometimes that will help"
Reactivate my phone? And it will help with the tower outage? WTH?
