Actually that's not true. Most FedEx shipments, including this one of iPhones require "indirect signature". You can read about it here:
You could have your neighbor sign or you could fill out a form with FedEx ahead of time and leave it on your door.
Thank you for your responses.... I was home when it was delivered, so it wasnt an issue. However, i believe I could have directed him next door for a signature without a problem.
Non issue now, but on the initial delivery, no, you cannot direct the driver elsewhere, even next door. They have no idea if you two are friends or enemies or the neighbor stuck the note there knowing you are getting a new iPhone. THAT is where the fedEx sticker comes in with the first attempt.
