I bought my step-daughter a samsung intensity II blue. She can make calls and receive them but as of midday yesterday she can no longer receive texts sent from myself, my wife, nor my other step-daughter. She can send texts to whomever she wants but does not receive them. The error code my wife receives is as follows:
invalid destination or service blocked at destination
sms error:
cause code 98
error class 2
We stopped in to a t-mobile store earlier today but they couldnt help us. The device is at college with her and we live 5 hrs away. They had us tell her to download updates from a number and code they gave us. When that didnt work we were told to have her call 611 and select option 2 which basically told her we turned it off on the account level which we did -not- do. Can you assist us in getting her ability to receive texts turned back on? We have checked the user manual to no avail.
Thanks!

Thanks!
If texting has been restricted at the account level, then it needs to be set to rights at the account level. Is your daughter on a pre-paid device? A family plan? Whoever is the account owner needs to contact Verizon Customer cervice (800-922-0204) and ensure that texting is provisioned properly for that line.
