Text Error Message

A few weeks ago I requested Delta.com to send my boarding pass via text message.  When the message came in, it requested me to reply which I did.  Now everytime I send a text, I receive a notification that is an error message stating that two messages were not sent.  I have no saved messages and even though I clear the notification, it keeps coming back each time I send a new text to anyone.  New text messages are being sent. 

 

A rep at the Verizon store told me to call customer service who did the whole power down thing and it did not correct it.  Her only suggestion was to wipe everything off the phone and return to factory settings which I'm not willing to do at this point.
