AS A FORMER HAPPY ALLTEL CUSTOMER..................I AM A VERY UNHAPPY VERIZON CUSTOMER
I have been told very thing from you should not be having problems to *228 to we will sent a tech out to your area to check thing out.
Then when I call 10 days later to see what the tech said they can not find the service order and give me the number to another service order & are told to call back in 3 days BUT
IF PAID FULL PRICE FOR VERIZON'S PHONES AND SIGNED A NEW HIGHER PRICE CONTRACT MY SERVICE WOULD BE THE SERVICE I EXPECT
IS THIS FAIR???????????
Ditto Here! I had 7 years of nearly flawless service with Alltel traveling 48 US States... My final bill with Alltel showed i only dropped
23 calls all month! I cannot even begin to guess how many dropped calls I have had since being passed to this lowsey excuse for a
phone company! I can guarantee you they will never have nerve enough to document it on your bill !!!!! I often drop more than 30
calls in one single conversation now! I once had a Business phone w/ Verizon and often had to use my personal phone due to lack of
service so I was sort of expecting this! It's too bad they took a company that REALLY WORKED!!!! and apparently shut it down
after they got ALLTEL'S customer list!

My real question is.... What strategy did Verizon mean to adopt for the takeover/absorption of the Alltel accounts?. My own personal experience strongly indicates that Verizon simply wanted to get rid of as many as possible, and as quickly as possible, of those more favorable Alltel plans and plan features, and if a little bit of subtle deception was necessary to facilitate that goal, then it would be permitted to stand. My conclusion is based on facts and circumstances that have been well documented in a letter to the store manager where my plan was switched - and in various e-mails to Verizon CS specialists and in posts on this forum. Thus far, no one has been honest and professional enough to actually address the substance of my complaint. All I've gotten are sickeningly patronizing replies that ignore the facts and repeatedly parrot the "Verizon position". One of the E-mail responders even had the gall to assert that she was my "advocate". Such replies only add insult to injury. Perhaps some one reading this post, preferably a qualified representative of Verizon, might wish to vindicate you and your colleagues by actually dealing with the issues I have raised. Respectfully submitted for your reply(s).
I have also been forced from Alltel to Verizon with horrible service. The longer this goes the worse it gets. Now it is nearly impossible to make or receive calls and text. Have also called customer service blah, blah blah. Have a tkt# now but do not know if anyone will show up or fix anything. I just wonder why no one with Verizon is answering the questions on this forum. I have read a lot of comments about bad service with Verizon but most customers are told just what we were- Deal with it or pay the etf and change carriers. I am already paying for a a service that I am not getting and they want me to pay a etf? This should be illegal.
Verizon did a service ticket on our service....................NOW I was 1st told that there were NO Technical problems..........Then when I kept saying there was a big differents in my service....Service rep saidshe did not say the were not issues in our area she said there were NO PROBLEMS THE TEAM WAS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF IN THE NEAR FUTURE. So they could offer me early out in our contract.
Here is the down fall I have 4 lines and a total of $700 deposit in will take 30 days or more to get back and the $300 plus I paid for phones 10 months ago I've lost.
Hubby & I are still talking not sure what move to make....Nextel is out we switched to Alltel from them their service is as bad as Verizons....................Any body know about ATT in the West-Central Florida Area??? or T-moblie??
I live in Eureka Springs, Aransas and for 6 yrs I had great cell service as well as my aircard. Ever since Verizon took over our service s are HORRIBLE! I have spoken w/tech support for last 2 wks as my calls are constantly dropped (they had to call me back repeatedly). Problem tickets are done and you never hear a word. Our whole area are having these problems.
Last night and today, I can't even make calls,nor can I receive them! My realtor had to drive to our house this morning as I never got her calls to tell me someone wanted to see our house. This is unacceptable. I wonder if 911 would work. My internet is hit and miss. We are just being ignored by Verizon. So much for their commercials and all those people behind us. Yea, right.
I got a service ticket and guess what- when they called cause they could not find the house they called on my cell phone!! Hello-my cell phone does not work here that is why I needed a service ticket. Well I did not get the call and when I got my voicemail I called them- no answer just a recording. Called again this morning and they have cancelled that ticket so I had to open another one!! Is that not crazy. I told them again- DO NOT CALL ON MY CELL PHONE BECAUSE IT DOES NOT WORK HERE!! So once again I am waiting by the phone- my landline- I hope they call soon. This has been very frustrating.
