My bill reflects a "sent" message from my phone to 0000006245 at 4:14 AM on 8/5.  This has become a very serious issue in a relationship I am in as it appears I am messaging people in the wee hours of the AM. This is not the first time this has happened over the last few months, and usually in the 3-4 AM hour. Also the 999-999-9999 phone call made by "me", or whatever the number is, know it just starts with 999.

Just getting really tired of having to defend myself against crap that Verizon is doing ..."we can't identify the 999 number yet. Hopefully it will correct itself by the time the bill cycles..."

But this 0000006245...going to try to keep a closer eye on my messages but I know without a shadow of a doubt, I am not on the phone period during the time these charges reflect I was.

Unless your partner has reason not to trust you, saying that you didn't do it should be enough. If it isn't, may I suggest a different relationship?

And you are dead on but if we can get through this, it will be an awesome, as it was before all these Verizon issues cropped up.  And yes, jeopardize a good relationship because of Verizon. How sad.

And for the record, I've seen several references to things like this coming or going from an email account or messaging application.

I have not signed into anything on my phone, other than using the Bing search to sign into Facebook a couple times months ago and my gmail, also months ago. And I have never used or signed into ANY messaging device on my phone so my phone should not be sending anything with the appearance of using anything but the normal phone call method and text method.

If you have seen several references to things like this before, just point to these references for your explanation.

It could just be your email/messaging or some other app checking for updates. When you accepted the terms of service for some app, I am sure that one of the warnings was that it can send text messages and/or calls of it's own accord without any input from you.

As to jeopardizing a good relationship because of Verizon, it is not a Verizon issue but a TRUST issue. I am sure that something else would have come up to show the lack of trust if it wasn't Verizon.

If you’re getting text messages from 6245, don’t be alarmed, 6245 is just a generic number that shows up on cell phones when you get a text message, AIM or email that originated from the internet. For more information, you can read about it here:

http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/0000006245

Your posting also mentions calls that appear as "999-999-9999" in the unbilled usage.  The 999-999-9999 number appears when an incoming phone number's Caller ID cannot be captured within the applicable Verizon Wireless billing systems when the call is within the current billing cycle and has not been billed yet. This can happen if the Caller ID of the person calling was not transmitted at the time that call was made or if the service provider for the caller did not provide us with the number calling you. Additionally, the caller may have enabled the use of "*67" to block his/her number from appearing on your Caller ID.

Please be aware you will be able to identify the actual number that called you once your next billing statement is processed, unless the number was intentionally blocked from appearing on your Caller ID. If such is the case, the call will appear as “unavailable” in the call detail section of your statement.

So, when viewing the unbilled usage, or usage that has not been processed through our billing system, calls where he Caller ID info did not display will show up as "999-999-9999," and once the bill prints, these calls will show as "Unavailable" on the bill.

I hope this information is helpful for you.

Best regards,
