How do I reset my PIN for Backup Assistant on Droid 2 by Motorola? It has not worked since June 21 2011.
Even when I click on forgot PIN, it gives me my PIN. I enter in my current PIN and it tells me that it is still an invalid PIN. Tech support said on the Manage My contacts screen from online, there should be a "Reset PIN" option. I don't see it. Any help is appreciated. I need to end this frustration. As an application tester, I see function as a big issue.
Have you tried clearing the pin from phone by going to Settings / Applications / Manage Applications / All / Sync Services and clear data and cache... After coing this you should be prompted yo reenter info when BA app is opened again.
By the way you do realize you do not need BA when Google backs up the sane info, just thought I would throw that out there..
Also have you tried logging into the BA site (It uses site logon not BA to access this info) at https://wbillpay.verizonwireless.com/ba/secure/backupassistant.action# and click show PIN to verify number?
