I set up a pattern lock for my Motorola Droid 2, and one of my friends tried unlocking it multiple times, and failed multiple times. Now to unlock it I have to enter my Google Account username and password, neither of which I remember. How can I unlock my phone without using the Google Account information, or how do I find this information if it is needed? Thank-you for your time.

Then you have to go to a Verizon store where they can unlock it for you. You need a special code to do that (a PUK code) that only Verizon has. You can not unlock a locked phone from your computer. I thought that you were trying to set up a new account, but I misread, sorry about that.

Yes, most phones, and other such things, usually give you three chances, then locks you out. Get onto your computer and go to your Google account. It should give you and option if you forgot your username/password. Once you establish a new username/password, then you can use them on your Droid 2.

I've tried that, but I can't remember the account name so I can't sign in at Google to establish a new username/password. Can I create a new account and just enter my phone as my mobile for that account? Or will my phone not accept the change and still only open to the old information? Also, where on the Google Account site can you enter in your phone number? Sorry that I am asking so many questions, but I can't figure this out and have been trying for hours.

You can have multiple Google accounts. So yes, you can set up a new account.

How would I do that then? I've set up a new account online, but do you know how I would be able to sync my Droid with this new account so it will recognize the information?

With Gmail, it should synch automatically. If not, tap on the Menu key and tap on Settings>Accounts, then on the new Google account and make sure that the Syncs you are interested in, for example, Gmail, are chosen (bright green checkmark).

Can I do this off of my computer? I'm sorry that I'm being so difficult, but I'm not really understanding how to do it. I tried going to my account settings, but I can't find anywhere where I can enter my phone number.

Go to your cell phone. Tap on the menu key (the key on the bottom left of the phone). This brings up six items, one of them being "Settings." Tap on that. This brings up a list of verious things, one of them being "Accounts." Tap on that. A list of all your accounts should be showing up. Tap on the account you are interested in checking on (your new Gmail account). This brings up four Sync items. They should have a bright green check mark. If not, click on the boxes with the grey check marks so that they are a bright green. Finally, tap on the return key (second key from the right with the curved arrow) and the home key (second key from the left the little house), and you should be all set. You do not have to deal with any telephone numbers at all.
I should also say that you set up your new (second) Google account on the phone, not the computer. If you haven't done so yet, just go to the accounts the way I told you to and click on "Add Account". This is where you can add a second Gmail account.

I am locked out of my cell phone, as stated above, and cannot get into it at all. I set up a pattern lock, and because of so many failed attempts, I can't unlock my phone unless I enter the google account username and password. So I cannot access this through my phone at all, whatsoever.
