That was my reason too as there are two Apple stores in my area. What is really galling, well, there is so much, really, is that admin reads these posts and you would imagine someone would step in and try to make things right. Apple is comping leather covers, well, we can't even get a By Your Leave on Verizon's own forum.
Verizon could at least step up and offer some sort of compensation. I too have no problem with waiting if that is what I'm told and agree to before purchasing, not the case. I too will be going to the press and the attorney general if Verizon doesn't step up and try to diffuse customers who were lied to!!!! Are you listening Verizon????? Perhaps taking the interest money accrued during our time of having paid for a product we don't actually have.......apply to that to 6 months of 3g service for those who have been given the run around!!!!
If your experiencing issues with tracking your order status due to the reported error online message, did you see this error message at the FedEx website when entering the 12 digit tracking number?
