I have an LG VX5600 phone. I took a bunch of photos and need to transfer them to my pc. How do I do that? I don't want to have to pay to email them to myself and when I plug in the USB, nothing happens. I did the bitpim download like someone suggested in another message but that didn't work. Any suggestions? Or is this camera phone worthless unless I pay more money?
There are several other threads about the 5600 (Accolade) - you need to use VCast Media Manager - search the boards for the Accolade, and Media Manager, and you'll find the threads with information on how to get your pictures off the phone and onto the computer.
Here's one thread that may get you going in the right direction:
Vcast DID work for downloading pics off of your VX5600 Accolade. I just updated it and now my phone will not even be recognized when I plug it into my computer. Vcast does not even list it as a supported platform, yet it is still offered by Verizon as a phone. So what is the deal? And it did not give me an option to not update it, it would just shut down Vcast. On top of that, it loaded something into my phone to lock it out of being accessed by any program, including BitPim. Thank you Verizon! :rolleyes
Am I now stuck with a camera phone that I cannot download pictures from? And no, I am not going to pay to e-mail pics to my computer when I am sitting at my computer.
