Dead iPhone?

My wife and I both received and activated our iPhones this evening.

 

When my wife was playing on hers, she said it just turned off. We're now not able to turn it back on and it won't turn on when we plug it in to charge.

 

Any thoughts? Any steps for "resetting/rebooting" it?

 

Or are we out of luck until we can see about getting a replacement?

Hold down the on/off button and the home button until it reboots. That should do the trick!
