Is there a way to add a prepaid $100 refill online or do I have to go to a Verizon store?

You can do it online on your my verizon account will will see add minutes, crdit card or debt or add pre paid card. Just follow the directions you can also add money right from your  cell phone., you will be using mnutes if you add money from the cell phone so online is your best bet.

There are several ways to apply a refill card to your account.

1. Online at verizonwireless.com/refill - you can use either a refill card or a major credit/debit card for payment.

2. Call *611 from your wireless phone OR (800) 294-6804 from a different phone.

3. Open My Verizon from your phone's web browser.  Select option #3 (Add Refill Card).

4. Send a text message with your refill PIN to VZPAY (89729).

It does affect your minutes/balance to call *611 from your Verizon Wireless phone, send a text message to VZPAY, or to visit My Verizon from your phone's web browser.

On the Daily prepaid card or auto pay plan the $100.00 means that you do not have to renew the card for one year as long as there is money in the account, if you run out of money you will have to put more into the account but your renewal date will stay the same as the date you first put the $100.00 in.  As far as being unlimited that depends on which plan you have the 99 cent plan or 1.99 plan or basic plan. The $1.99 plan is unlimited but that does not include texting. If you want texting you have a choice of $10.00  per month for unlimited verizon to verizon and 250 text for other carriers, or $20.00 per month for unlimited or anyone.

Not what I was hoping to hear LOL. But thank you for your response.  I think I will stick with the $10 unlimited texting and just get the $15 refill for my minutes.  I am not a person who likes to talk on the phone- but it is nice to hear people's voice from time to time.

One last question... If I get get $15 for minutes and don't use it all after one month, do the minutes stay on my phone or do they disappear? Sorry for being a pain- just never had a prepaid phone before.

Sorry for being a pain- just never had a prepaid phone before.  Never be sorry for asking a question thats how I learned about my prepaid phone. lol.  If you never use the phone at the end of your 30 days you will still have to buy another card to keep the phone activated and the $15.00 will roll over so if you added another $15.00 dollars your new balance would be $30.00 - if you can swing the $30.00 you would beable to get 90 days for $30.00  so it would be like getting one month free. As long as you keep the phone active the money amount will keep rolling over and stay on your account.
