a little off topic but this seems to be a pretty active thread and im looking for a quick answer im trying to download a paid app from the market over wifi obv b/c of the ouatge and its taking FOREVER to authorize the payment, could this b an outage issue or should this be something that shoukd have gone thru already. ive downloaded a couple non paid apps well they were updates to already DLed apps. but they went thru any ideas since were all sitting up waiting for our 3g to kick in anyway
We had a Nationwide & Global data outage. Our technicians have resolved the issue. If you are still experiencing issues, some some devices may need to rebooted to resolve connectivity issues. Those issues should be done. I would call *228 and choose option 1. If that does not work, do a battery pull while the unit is on, wait a minute and power up.
Also, from the main screen choose, MENU.SETTINGS> WIRELESS & NETWORKS. Scroll down and make sure Mobile Network is checkmarked.
The problem is ongoing here. My Droid Maxx cannot get internet and can't even find where any settings are on the phone. It keeps asking for an IP address when I can't even find a place for an internet setting. What is wrong with this phone??? Is it because it's a refurbished phone? Just got it about a month ago and keep having problems. Sometimes I hate Verizon.
