Log in to your account on MyVerizon, across the top menu, choose My Services>>then Backup Assistant a the bottom of the list.
Be forewarned...there have been issues (to put it mildly) with Backup Assistant recently (the past several weeks). I can still see my contacts online, and it seems to be functioning for me; others have not been so lucky.
If your contacts were successfully backed up, you should be able to access them online.
