does anyone know how to retrieve a forgotten passcode protection that prompts to use your phone? it only gives me 5 tries and i cant remember!! blackberry website no help they dont recognize the pins entered from package. help!!
I think you may be able to do this.....Dial *228 + send from your phone. Then press option 1. That'll reprogram your phone. The code will be the last 4 digits of your cell number
If it is a Blackberry password you are out of luck. After the allowed number of attempts the security system will wipe the contents from the phone and return it to default condition.
Sorry, there is nothing that Verizon or RIM can do to help you recover the password (no "backdoor" entry) as this would defeat the objective of the password protection.
