    LG Ally and Notifications....

    turtletopaz

Recently I have been having problems with notifications....At first it was that I was not getting sound notifications. I was getting a notification in the bar area but no sound. I would either reboot the phone or take out the battery and then restart the phone and then the sound notifications would work but eventually it would stop sending sound.  I took it to a Verizon store and a Customer service rep recommended that I take out the battery every other day(I think this is a pain in the butt to do) and he even changed the battery because I have also been having battery draining issues even though I try to kill nonessential things from running in the background.  Now today, my phone was working and then about half way through the day I noticed that I was not  getting notifications. I pulled the battery and restarted the phone and the notifications worked temporarily and then I stopped getting all notfications all together.  At first I thought it was an issue with Yahoo mail for Android but now I am not so sure. I have now pulled the battery and *228 the phone and I am at my witts end trying to figure out what is wrong with the phone. I just want to get my notifications to work! Please Help!
