Hi, can someone help me? I am on Verizon and am texting to and receiving messages from an email address... Will the person's email address show up on my cell phone bill? Or can it be seen if my billing acct is accessed online? Thanks!

I text from my e-mail to phone.  When I log in to the account under my number and check the text messaging details my e-mail is listed as sending from my e-mil address to my phone number so yes it does show up.  I don't actually see the paper bill so can't say about that but it is online for any number on the account that is registered online.     Mary

Thanks, Mary. When you say "it is online for any number on the account that is registered online," does that mean that not every number is necessarily registered online? For example, I have two numbers on my account, the primary account holder's number and the secondary number. I assume the primary number is online, but I don't think the secondary number is "registered" online. Does that mean only the primary acct holder's info can be seen online?

Well my husband is the main account holder and son and I have phones on the account but since my husband is not computer literate I set it all up so once I registered his number online then I went in and registered son and I and created passwords for them all.    If the main account holder has the account registered then I believe all they have to do is plug in the other number on the account and set up a passowrd for it as that is what I did and then can access all the details of calls and messaging on that phone.

Now I went under husband's number to view the bill and I can't see any messaging details for my phone or son's phone just how many calls and how many texts but no phone numbers or anything unless I go under the actual number to get the details.  Dug out the paper bill and it does not show the details  for each number so you definately have to go online to get those.   Once the main account is registered if any other numbers on the account are registered there is a drop down arrow that displays them all and you pick what one you want to go to and it just goes there, no password needed.

If you want to go to other lines on the account individually then you just plug in the nickname you set up or cell number and log in with the password  that was created to go to that number only and can still get all the messaging details.  Mary

Verizon has screwed up our billing not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES!! Each time they transfer us to people that can't help, they refuse to reimburse it like they said they would... DO NOT GO W/VERIZON!!! We were considering bundling our package w/them for phone, internet, and cable but they are obviously incapable of even getting our billing straight for one!!! I will stay w/AT&T. What a headache to have to take time out of my day to address their mess ups!

Now holding again... had the misfortune of talking to Valerie (supposedly a supervisor) but she can't fix the issue either... oh the joys... perhaps they should spend less time showing their **bleep** maps on TV and more time appropaitely training their staff...

My friends have horror storries from other carriers so I guess you can't win.  We have only had regular service with them for 2 1/2yrs. and thankfully  not one billing mistake.  Before this we had prepaid for like 8yrs.  Mary

I have had Sprint service, T-mobile service, AT&T service and obviously Verizon service. Out of all the providers Sprint was the worst. I had the most billing problems espeically right when I first signed a contract with Sprint. Not to forget Sprint customer care was horrible over the phone.I'd always tend to get someone on the phone I couldn't understand. :smileymad: Blah. Did that, done that.

Verizon doesn't suck in my view. Still....a great provider.
