I was able to setup my yahoo email account on my Storm 9530 but can't setup my excite email account. No matter what I put in for a username and password it says it's wrong.....2 questions...
1. What are the steps for setting up the excite email account.
2. I understand that Verizon has a utility that searched my home computer looking for email account userID information for the purpose of setting up the correct email account info but I can't find this utility under the Verizon website.....anyone know where this utility program exists????Customer service couldn't help me find it on the website.
excite.com requires you to upgrade to "Excite Email Gold" in order to access the email from an outside program. That is the only way you can get it to be used as a POP email server. It looks like they're upgrading their servers at the moment and aren't allowing members to upgrade and don't have a price but I'd guess it's somewhere around $20/yr.
