My Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930V REV 0.6) has started experiencing high battery usage after the April 2019 Software Update (R16NW.G930VVRS9CSC1) pushed by Verizon on 4/3/2019. A fully charged battery will not last overnight with the phone idle. The battery usage indicates Android OS is using upto 63% of the battery and Android System is using 24% of the system. Prior to the update, the phone could run 36-48 hours when idle and 24 - 36 hours with moderate use.
I have tried Clearing the system Cache and a "Battery Recalibration", the issue appears to be the mAh usage by Android OS and Android System.
Has a default been changed in the Software Update, that needs to be changed to prevent this battery drain?
