Who I have the same questioned this topic

I'm trying to use my phone to connect to the internet and use snapchat, but over the bars there is an "x" and the internet is not working. I can still make calls for some reason, but none of the functions requiring an internet connection are loading. I tried reseting my phone (google pixel 2) and taking out the sim card, and I checked all of the settings. Nothing has worked so far.
