Hotspot not working

After the last update I lost the ability to have my Samsung device connect to my iPhone X. It shows thats it's connected to iPhone but it's not. Any ideas on how to fix this

As a Mobile Hotspot user, I know how inconvenient it is for you not to be able to use your Samsung device with the Mobile Hotspot on your iPhone X, and we want to help you. What model Samsung device are you using? Is the Software on the Samsung device up to date? When you enable the Mobile Hotspot on your iPhone X how are sharing the connection?
