We are headed to Australia on vacation and looking for an internet source. The cheapest option would be an eSIM through Optus. I do not own my phone (making payments). Would this work? I've found conflicting things about CDMA vs. GSM and whether my phone is locked or unlocked.

We know the importance of getting a great plan while traveling internationally, hllb. We do want to help you in any way we can.
However, when wanting to use another provider's service, you would actually need to speak with them. Your phone has the ability to activate with another provider's eSIM service, but the compatibility with their network is based on what they offer.
We deeply apologize, but we would have not information or details on what will or will not work with their service. We can only give you suggestions on our plans and services.
