I was also told that my iPhone 8 Plus 256GB in gold will be shipped on 9/29, although none of the Verizon agents that I've spoken to can confirm it.

Ordered On 9/22 and said it ship by 9/29. I just got an email that it's been pushed out to 10/10 now.
