My phone iphone 7 plus finally arrived, but it is missing the SIM removal tool. I've been told that the Verizon iPhone is not the same as one purchased from the Apple store, is this true? What about the tool that is missing? Are the Apps identical, missing apps or is there bloatware?

Congratulations on your new iPhone! I hope that you are loving your new device. The iPhone comes with the device, a wall charger/USB cord, a pair of headphones, and a headphone adapter. The iPhone does not come with a SIM card removal tool. You can use a paper clip or a safety pin to remove your SIM card. The iPhone stock apps are the same as the apps that are provided if you purchased the phone from Apple directly.

Generally speaking, it will come with a pre-installed sim card. This sim card is tied to the order so when you power it on and activate it the sim pre-installed is activated. There is no reason to keep your old sim. The device is identical to one purcahsed from Apple.

My iPhone 7 Plus came with a SIM card removal tool (was surprised). It was inside the envelope with the papers and stickers attached to the paper with the picture of the iPhone showing how to eject the tray.
