I always run out of my 15g's about 10 days into the month. I do not stream anything. No movies, no games, no tv . . . Nothing. I do, however, visit Facebook occasionally (daily.). Is this using up my data after 5 - 10 days? I am tired of having a "slow" router. Help me out guys or Verizon people who might give me insight in to this problem. - Bevjeane

Social media as bad as video streaming when it comes to burning up data.

We understand the importance of having enough high speed data to fit your needs. We are happy to help. Facebook does include videos so that can use a significant amount of data. To ensure we are providing you with the best options, are you using the Mobile Hotspot feature on your phone or are you using one of our jetpack devices? What plan do you have?

Yes, I am using mobile hotspot. Will I use less if I disconnect from router and simply use hotspots? I do used Facebook several hours a day.

Thank you for those details. To clarify, what router are you referring to? CourtneyM_VZW

If you are using the iPhone as a mobile hotspot to allow other devices to connect to the Verizon Wireless network, you will definitely be using your 15 GB LTE hotspot data fairly quickly.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
