Why isn't my iTunes Music saving onto my Verizon Cloud?

Hello! I have an itunes account and want to load music onto my iphone 6 to listen to when i am offline and not using any data, what i am able to do with my ipod touch.  i have downloaded a few albums on the iphone.  i also installed the verizon cloud app onmy iphone.    as of right now, the music i downloaded does not show as being stored in the cloud.  not my original iphone cloud allowance or the verizon app cloud allowance.  can anyone tell me how this all works?  i would appreciate the help.

Satchcat, we want you to have all the information needed to keep your information safe and secure. When using an iPhone, the Verizon Cloud would only allow you to backup contacts, pictures and videos. Here is a link to help backup your information via iTunes/iCloud http://apple.co/1PFEQh9
